To feel slightly uncomfortable about small kids being social media comedy hits?

There's a couple in particular that i find weirdly unsettling. One is the toddler age kid who is obviously coached (one of the videos is complaining about a chatty woman sitting next to her on a plane) and another older kid of about seven, dropping one liners about divorce and other 'grown up' phrases.

I just find it weird for some reason. Lots of people seem to find them hilarious and they pop up regularly on my Facebook feed. I get that kids can be very precocious and can and do say amusing things, that they don't really understand, but I think putting it on the internet isn't really a great idea. They could be really embarrassed when they're teenagers for one? And even in the here and now, it doesn't sit right with me for some reason to let millions of strangers seeing your kid like this?

The videos all strike me as being a bit contrived too. AIBU to find them so odd? What does everyone else think about them?

Agree.

Yanbu. And yes it's so obvious that they're being coached. Especially the ones with 'sassy' one liners.

Same for bloggers kids whose every childhood experience is exploited for profit. In ten years, they will be teenagers and every detail of their tantrums and potty training will be there to find.

Ugh yes I completely shudder for the poor kids of the bloggers, if so much of their life has been broadcast! Very questionable ethically speaking.
