Seriously I had plans today with a friend, cancelled due to rain all day. The forecast has changed every 10 minutes.

How can they not predict accurate weather for the entire day at the start of the day??

Because it's really difficult if there is a low pressure front moving thru to predict exactly where and when it will rain.

I know. It must be great being a weather forecaster in Spain.

On 1 April- "it is now going to be sunny every day all day with the odd exception. See you in October"

Ive noticed that the BBC weather service has been completley innacurate since they stopped using the Met Office.

Agree Runny. I only ever use the met office for weather. IME they are rarely wrong.

It is annoying isn't it?! Grin

I mean, the other week - late June - it was 35C on Monday, and 15C on Thursday. I swear the UK is the only country where this happens! Confused

I think they seem to predict the weather fairly accurately when it's 24-48 hours away, but no further than that usually.

Makes me laugh when they say (in February,) 'it's gonna be a massively long, hot summer.' OR in September, they say 'it's gonna be a long hard winter with 6 feet of snow every week in December.'

LOL, like how the F do they know?

And they are NEVER right!
