Neighbour has small caravan sitting in his driveway

Would it be rude to approach him to say in case he wishes to sell that I am interested ?

You could ask no harm in thatdoes he not use it?

Thanks Mrs Jay

Live in a Naice area and didn't want to appear terribly rude !

I really hope you're in the South of England and looking at mine Grin

It's fine to ask. We inherited a holiday home on a complex last year. One of the other apartment owners emailed us to ask if we would give them first refusal if we were going to sell. We weren't offended at all. It's good to know we have that option!

LightastheBreeze · 22/07/2017 17:40

I would ask especially if it doesn't seem to be used as sometimes it's easier to let things sit there if you don't want them than to go through the bother of selling on eBay etc and all and sundry coming round to view it and making silly offers and maybe being conned.

We had a caravan when we were kids and my parents eventually sold it to a random who knocked on the door asking if they would consider selling it.

MrsJayy · 22/07/2017 18:06

They can be a nightmare to sell they deplete so quickly so maybe a private sale is what they will be after.

Aquamarine1029 · 22/07/2017 21:10

There is nothing rude about asking someone if they are interested in selling something they own. Not at all.

If he says yes, make sure you get it thoroughly checked first!
