Posting for traffic..

I'm just wondering if you think my DD nearly 1yo qis getting enough food in a day. Today she has had...

4oz milk

A slice of toast (minus the crusts)
10 blueberries
3 small slices of watermelon
Baby bell

A biscuit

A crumpet with cheese spread
2 large strawberries
Some crisps

A handful of tuna pasta sweet corn
1/2 veg pouch
More blueberries
Bite of bannana
4 dairly lee dunker crackers

Then she'll probably have 3oz milk before bed.

Sounds fine to me, she's eating a good amount there.

Yabu for asking on here though Grin you'll just get slated for giving her "rubbish" Hmm

I don't think there is one right answer to your question, @BrazillaBells. I'd look at the individual child - are they happy and active, are they eating a balanced diet, and do they look like they are a reasonable weight for their height. If the answer to all these is yes, then they are probably getting the right amount of food.

Why would you only care about quantity? Quality is more important when it comes to nutrition needed for growing babies!

welshweasel · 20/07/2017 18:43

Good sounds fine but ideally should be having 350ml milk a day so you could try to increase that. If she won't have it, then you need to increase the amount of dairy in her diet to compensate.

welshweasel · 20/07/2017 18:43

Food not good!

MusicToMyEars800 · 20/07/2017 18:43

organix good, they seem to be popping up all over threads at the mo.
OP, seems like plenty of food to me, don't listen to the posters who say what you should and shouldn't be feeding her Grin

lazycrazyhazy · 20/07/2017 19:40

Seems plenty of calories to me and a range of foods. Maybe not quite enough milk?

BrazillaBells · 20/07/2017 19:42

Forgot to answer, I don't cut the crust off she just doesn't eat them 🙈 When she has sausages, I make her 2 but she usually eats one and a bit. She'll eat 3 fish fingers though! Once she's peeled the breadcrumbs off 😅

Plenty and it's varied too. I wish my nearly 3 yo would eat that variety.
