Anyone else worried about the sudden rise in acid attacks, moped thieves etc? It feels a bit like the rule of law is breaking down. All this simmering violence - London feels really alien and hostile these days.

The problem has nothing to do with race it's about the mass closure of police stations all over London

The sales of certain acids should be prohibited for sure. But they will get them on the Darknet, there will always be evil people and I feel sure there is a rise in racism and some of these attacks have a racist element.

I've lived in North London for the past 15 years and there is not rise in violence. It's just the media are reporting those acts more and the perception of the amount of violence has changes.

I've lived in London all my life, and my perception is that London does not feel any less safe. It feels a lot more safe now than it did in the 80s.
