To want a double pram

I am expecting a baby in December. My DD will be 2 years 8months when the new baby will be born. I think I will need a double pram and want the Uppababy Vista but DH is adamant we won't need a double pram. I think he has no bloody clue just how much a 2 year old will need to sit or nap or be strapped in when going around town. This will be the closest in age our children are. We have 19 year old DS, 7 year old DD and 2 year old DD.

I want and think we will need a double pram. Is he being an unrealistic tight arse?

I have tbe vista and have 18 months between my two. I did buy the rumble seat but only used it a handful of times. I use buggy board now but he has always been a good walker

Baby jogger double is amazing
We used ours for 2.5 year age difference
Great for going up town if you need two kids strapped in and hassle free
Can be sold on for a great price too so good investment

Haven't read the whole thread but don't buy a vista as a double!!! It's weighted all wrongly once you add the rumble seat on. Swapped mine for a mountain buggy duet. Which was a fraction of the price. Vista was our biggest waste of money babywise.

I have 2 years between two of my dcs. I tried to manage with buggy board and sling but the baby was too heavy for me to manage in the sling and the older one would constantly tell me her legs had fallen off so needed to sit in the buggy. I lasted about 2 weeks before I bought a 2nd hand double!
