Just watching breakfast cartoons on C5 (I know that's being unreasonable but little one is off to Milkshake Live soon, so needs to recognise some of the characters Smile) and an advert for a game came on.

Basically you play Russian roulette with a toilet, flushing it until one of the players gets sprayed with toilet water. WTF?! That's gross, right?

Here's a link to buy the game in case people think I'm making this up...

OP. I also don't know why it would be unreasonable to watch cartoons on a Sunday morning...

Honestly your DC will reach the stage where the word poo is the funniest word in the world and will say it at every opportunity. I can see the appeal for kids. You are going to have to chill out with this stuff..

feathermucker · 16/07/2017 11:13

Totally harmless fun.

I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest by it.

Miniwookie · 16/07/2017 11:14

Of all of them gooey Louie is the worst. The ad for that makes me heave. I'm surprised they have invented Zitty Mickey, where you have to squeeze spots. Rank. The toilet is quite tame. At least it's only water.

AtHomeDadGlos · 16/07/2017 14:45

Looks like IABU then!

And I'm sure there's a link to violent games like GTA and violent crime. I'm not saying all people who play it do, but the more realistic these games become the more likely it is to have a knock on effect. Like pornography setting an unrealistic example for teenagers etc.

It's not gross. You don't use real toilet water.

I don't think you can compare the steady drip drip of misogyny with the Spritz of faux toilet water either.

shamoffour · 16/07/2017 15:16

My youngest two are obsessed with

Bums
Willies
Trumps
Poo
Wee
Snot

And pretty much anything else that's disgusting so they would love it.

FlowerFairyLights · 16/07/2017 15:19

I think it's gross and wouldn't get it.

We don't watch tv with ads so do get less pester power I think.

seagreengirl · 16/07/2017 15:31

Are you serious? If so that is one of the most ridiculous things that I have read on here. Children love gross things.

gamerwidow · 16/07/2017 16:02

There is a world of difference between kids playing an violent 18 rated computer game and kids playing a game that squirts them with water (albeit from a pretend toilet). If you can't see that then I seriously question your judgement.
Fwiw kids love 'potty humour' my DD would love this the same way that she loves her dolls that wee or her doggy doo game.

FlowerFairyLights · 16/07/2017 16:05

I wouldn't get a doggy doo game either!!

And there's studies that link violence with violent games in kids but suspect the brains well developed enough by 18 to play 18 games!!

SideOrderofSprouts · 16/07/2017 16:19

I knew
It would be this game before I opened the thread

I think the bogey one
Or the shitting dog are worse

GreeboIsACutePussPuss · 16/07/2017 16:23

I think it looks great and I the DC would love to play it. Shower head or tap wouldn't be anywhere near as funny because that's clean water and children like poo and wee and muddy puddles, not clean water.

AtHomeDadGlos · 16/07/2017 16:53

I know that GTA and the toilet game aren't the same or even remotely similar. I wasn't the one to bring up the issue of violent games, someone else did. I was just replying to them.

I just think it's a bit gross. That's all.

One of my DS fave books when he was little was called...Potty poo poo wee wee...He is now ten so you can see how often I read it.

Not every game has to be a learning opportunity ..though taking turns is still a good skill to be practised for school..Sometimes just fun is fine.

Floods123 · 16/07/2017 19:17

Buying one for grandkids for Xmas! They will love it!

EB123 · 16/07/2017 19:20

I hate stuff like this but my 6 year old saw the ad and wants one!

DeleteOrDecay · 16/07/2017 19:20

Kids love toilet humour. It's no different to that Doggy Doo Doo game. Lighten up op.

FlowerFairyLights · 17/07/2017 06:51

Ha I wouldn't get a doggy doo game either!!
Had no idea I was that unusual!!
