Composite door

AIBU to think £2100 is rather a lot for a composite front door - nothing fancy - door, letterbox, fitting and VAT. I'm in Birmingham and thinking this is a bit much.

My landlord is replacing all the dpuble glazing in our house, plus putting composite doors on the front and back. The windows are big, there are five at 2.3m wide by 1m high each plus two normal sized in the bathroom. The cost for all of it before fitting is £3499 incl vat

These seem very reasonable - £800 to 900 for a composite door. No salesmen. Anyone used them?

We got our door from them a couple of years ago, no problems and installation was good.

We got a Rockdoor installed 3 years ago. £1200 fitted
We're in SE. We're very pleased with it.

Hi what door would you suggest?? How do I know if I have the foam or wood door when I get quotes? Thanks

My builder BIL (also in SE) pays around £750 for them, and they look nice.

Don't know how much extra fitting would cost though.
