To not Want to go out for the day?

Supposed to be going out somewhere with H and DD2. Maybe the coast. But I don't want to. Just got back from a week away, just me and H. So suggestedDD might want to do something.
I am feeling antisocial and really want a day on my own. I am over human-contacted. I don't want to talk to anyone or have to think about anyone.
I also have foul period pain and a job application to do. Plus crochet, reading and watching Poldark.

But it's faaaaamily time. (Without DD1).

How old are your daughters? I think I mistakenly assumed they're youngish! If DD2 is 19, presumably DD1 is older?

If they're all old enough to take care of themselves, definitely just tell them you're in a lot of pain with your period, you need to stay in bed with a hot water bottle (/chocolate / tea / etc) and you'll see them all later!

There'll be plenty more days for family stuff, and there's no point dragging yourself out while you're feeling grotty and resentful.

Hope you can have a lovely restful day. x
