Its a beautiful sunny day.

I'm in complete "clear out" zone - did my 13yo's bedroom yesterday and I know I have the huge job to the 10yo and 7yo's room still to do.

I love laundry.

I want to strip beds and wash them and hang them out and clear out 7yo's knickers drawer...

BUT THEY ARE ALL STILL IN BED. I can't even do my own bed as DH is still in it...!! I have 1 washing load on the line, another will be out in 20 mins.....

I want to go around with a big gong, crashing it screaming GET UP....

(Mind you, if they were up I'd also want them out of the house because they would be in my way)...

I'm in NE Scotland - its a beautiful sunny day - the kids and I (all in schools - them as pupils, me as staff) have been off for so long that we have already been away our family holiday and are back...!!!!!

All girls up and dressed - little ones are tidying their room at the moment as the cleaner comes this afternoon. I have 2 bags for fabric recycling, and 3 bags for the charity shop so I'm just off with them now, after I've pegged out my last load of washing...

Ooh, I love getting the washing done and stripping beds etc. Always makes me feel like I've achieved something.

It's also a good excuse to reward myself with coffee and cake Grin 🍰
