To want to discover the secrets of extremely efficient work colleague

It's astonishing. You will email her at 9:02am asking for her to bring a report to you at her earliest convenience. 9:04 I get a reply 'of course. I am on my way'.

She replies to all emails within 30 mins max. Has all tasks completed within an hour max and she's super busy in a profession well known to be stressful and busy.

Anyone else know someone like this?

I'm like this. I have no explanation as to why but I'm just super efficient and good with time management, it sounds like typical interview speak but it's true.
I used to work in a very busy sales role and colleagues would routinely stay until 7-8pm whereas I always left by 6:30. I also always made more commission than them and made less mistakes.

I often see people working and think to myself 'I wouldn't do it that way...'
I work In a different sector now and am amazed at how much people faff about wasting time.

I worked with someone who replied to all the easy quick stuff instantly. They actually came to all of us as a team, and she always jumped on them ASAP.

Meanwhile she never did any of the big, difficult, unwieldy stuff that involved cat herding and trying to deal with reluctant higher-grade managers from other organisations. She just used the quick stuff as an excuse to be too busy for everything else.

Eventually she quit our department in disgust because she apparently did all the work and we did nothing.

In the next 6 months we finished all of her big unwieldy difficult projects, to the delight of the people who'd been waiting forever for them, while taking over the smaller easier tasks but sometimes taking a little longer to do them. We also didn't bother replacing her, which pissed her off.
