To think this was cheeky?

Recently had a house clear out and sold an umbrella style pushchair that DS has outgrown. Posted it on the local selling page for £10.
A lady messaged me asking if I would take £7 for it. I couldn't really be bothered at this point, thought maybe she needs one and is really struggling for cash so i agreed to the sale and she arranged to pick up the following day.
When she turned up, she brought a £20 note and expected me to have £13 change to hand for her! I didn't, I only had £10, so she said she didn't want it.
AIBU to think turning up to collect something you've bought second hand off the internet without the correct change is a bit off?!

Why do people turn up to collect large items without thinking if they will fit?
If you're going to collect a large desk in a small car, maybe take your child seats out and leave them at home. Plus all the crap in your boot.
Just where did you think the desk was going to go?

If she wants it for £7 when she knows you wanted £10, then she's an idiot for spending petrol money on going to yours with a twenty pound note. It was guaranteed to end up with someone being pissed off.

I think some people do this deliberately, chancing that you'll not have change sbf just say "oh just have it".

I think it's cheeky.

She beat you down in price, then turns up with a £20. I would have been embarrassed to hand over a twenty after I beat someone down from £10.00. l also think she was hoping you would say take it.

I need to get rid of my boys trampoline. It wont fit in garden of new house. I'm giving it away for free. Someone asked me how big it is. I couldn't remember so didn't reply right away. She asked again. I said I think its 6 foot. She replied oh not big enough but thanks anyway

They went for 99p. shock 2 guys came, said they were going on a container to Nigeria the next day - gave me a pound and asked for change...

That's great!
