What do we all think of this?

I mean I'm all for piercing a girls ears when they're a baby but any where else is just a no for me.

uhuh. My rule are: don't put (non-medically justified) holes in things you don't own.

The addendum is: if you think you own your baby's body then you disgust me.

I think you are taking the term "attraction" very literally

I think you're putting too much onus on suggesting why other people have body mods 😊

It's not a contraversial idea thet humans adorn themselves in various ways for attraction purposes, and to signal to other humans.
We're just basically animals, shaking our tail feathers and making mating calls! We just do it with makeup and piercings and clothes is all.

My ears were pierced when I was about 8 weeks old! The only thing that annoys me about this is that they are a tiny bit wonky..... wouldn't pierce my lo's ears though.

In Brazil , baby girls ears are pierced at 24 hours old by the obstetrician! People kept stopping me on the street to laugh at my baby in a dress but no earrings. " it's ok " my friend explained ' they just think your daughter is a hermaphrodite' ......

If you rtft you'd see that we all know it was about circumcision, that doesn't stop people being passionate about not piercing babies though..
