For blaming Marslady's Lemon Drizzle Cake for my shoplifting crime this afternoon?

Was so busy marvelling at how well my 12 inch pizza (and two choc bars) fit into my new lemon drizzle tote bag that i forgot to pay for DS's 97p easter bunny toy. Was halfway up street still admiring new bag and thinking I must make cake this weekend before i realised he was holding bunny and I hadn't paid.

We did go back and pay and apologise BTW.

lemon drizzle tote bag?

BigEggLittleEgg · 23/03/2007 16:56

Tis fabulous. You can get one at the mumsnet shop that someone with a brain (unlike me) can do a link to for you. Lots more stuff too.

where is shop?

powder28 · 23/03/2007 17:09

I have left shop without paying for things too, not on purpose though.
My friend was telling me that her sister pinches from a certain shop quite frequently and the shop has got a picture of her in their staffroom!

If you look under Charitable Events in topic list and there's one called "baby stuff and bags come and get em" or something similar. There's links there...

Thanks Califrau, must learn how to do that.

Powder28, I once really did shoplift in my teens, AND got caught. Worst thing was it was a New Kids on the Block poster i was taking ...

Yeah i think this girl was stealing crisps! I think if youre going to do it go for something bigger!

shouldbedoingsomethingelse · 23/03/2007 17:48

I've had admiring glances about my Shopping list bag today. I bought a Cake on too (the idea was not to use carrier bags anymore but my shopping might make the bags dirty}

Pink ballon one was "stolen" by my DD

BigEggLittleEgg · 23/03/2007 17:54

I was hoping someone would spot my bag today but alas no. Trouble is, when you do spot one, do you just say "nice bag" and wink?

I can't buy them because the shop doesn't take my kind of card

powder28 · 23/03/2007 18:05

Just had a look at the stuff. What size is a small approximately? Does anyone know?

BigEggLittleEgg · 23/03/2007 18:13

Littlelapin has done a few threads where she (and others) mention how the sizes come up etc. Again if I could do a link I would! If you search for threads by Littlelapin you should find something.

The site took my debit card ok (not a credit card) Squonk, but dont think they take Switch . Am happy to buy something and you can paypal me if there's things you would like. It's all for a good cause after all...

its ok just found something bout the sizes. I will see if my card is accepted...

CadburyCremeSquonk · 23/03/2007 18:21

bigegglittleegg - would you do that?

I can paypal, but my only card is switch and they don't take it.

Can I cat you?

powder28 · 23/03/2007 18:47

Have just read about that little girl, its so sad, i would give loads of money if i could afford to. I will buy something though. The balloon t shirts are pretty.

littleEasterlapin · 23/03/2007 19:33

powder, have a emoticon. And for people who can't afford to buy something, and I know the things aren't cheap (manufacturer's costs plus charity markup, nothing taken from the profits ), you can always donate on the Justgiving site, even a few quid is welcome!

I'm using my pink balloon shopper as a nappy bag and am eagerly awaiting the tote bag I've ordered from the Cafe Press shop.

powder28 · 23/03/2007 20:21

It wont accept my card, how else can i pay? I havnt got a credit card by the way

powder28 · 23/03/2007 20:23

Bigegglittleegg, being a fan of new kids on the block was a crime in itself

CadburyCremeSquonk · 23/03/2007 20:27

powder - it doesn't take switch cards - this is the problem that I have had.

nikkie · 23/03/2007 20:33

Bigegglittleegg I have just admitted that on another thread

nikkie · 23/03/2007 20:33

liking New Kids On the Block not shop lifting!

BigEggLittleEgg · 24/03/2007 07:47

Squonk am really happy to buy stuff for you, I trust you! Not sure if you can CAT me, do I need to be some kind of special member to be CATable?

DH is working from home this morning and will be on PC in about 5 mins for the morning, but will check back later on. If cant CAT I will put my email address on here. Will look into this CAT thing quickly now.

Realise liking New Kids on the Block was a far bigger crime than stealing a poster from Woolies... I saw them in concert and everything. Oh the shame. .

Its ok, i used to like SONIA!

My friend and i had an argument about who was best [this was years ago] Kylie or Sonia. It got so heated she walked out!
