I like her Instagram

Crunchymum · 05/07/2017 20:59

Clicky link?

Awholelotofhot · 05/07/2017 21:13

There seems to be a lot of young girls pouting in skimpy outfits though....

How do I make a link clickable - has this worked!

Her clothes are meant to be fancy dress/ boutique festival wear for kids, aren't they? (Her most recent range, that is. The dresses she did for Peacocks a few years ago were lovely, though, wish she'd carried on doing them)

Awholelotofhot · 05/07/2017 21:17

I get that but why are they all virtually negligees or with little bunny bums on them. Seems more akin to playboy!

£325 for a bunny suit? £100 for a toy wand.

TealStar · 05/07/2017 21:25

She doesn't get many likes for the no of followers she has I wonder if she's bought her followers 😄

RosJ · 05/07/2017 21:42

Awful. Those stripey things are quite disturbing. I'm sure the children modelling are naturally skinny, but they are definitely going for the emaciated aesthetic, which I think is a bit grim.

Awholelotofhot · 05/07/2017 22:00

I noticed that too TealStar

Just all seems a bit 'fetishisation' of young girls to me.

I think I agree. It's not so much the oufits themselves as the style of photography. It's very 'fashion' and it would be fine if they are adults doing the sullen/passive pout into the camera with sleazy Polaroid style filters, but it does look a bit iffy when it's kids as young as that. There is absolutely nothing anyone could say outright was wrong, but for me personally it's all just a bit Lolita-ish.

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 12/07/2017 18:16

I suspect she has bought some of her followers.

Ciderposie · 12/07/2017 18:54

Exactly dollydaydream it just all feels sleazy - it's her own child as well

CinderellaRockefeller · 12/07/2017 19:00

Yes, they're applying an adult fashion aesthetic to children's silky fancy dress. Not pleasant really.

Also really unlikely to appeal to a child looking for a fancy dress outfit ("hey, do you want to look like a sad clown?") so not sure who they are aimed at.

Ciderposie · 12/07/2017 19:36

That's a very good point Cinderella!

specialsubject · 12/07/2017 19:37

Ah, the bovine parted lips thing. So attractive, not.

NicolasFlamel · 12/07/2017 19:43

I couldn't believe it when I looked at her stuff and the prices of it all. It's all a bit creepy looking.

MrsToddsShortcut · 12/07/2017 19:49

One of the followers on that last post has commented that she can't wait till the adult range comes out, as she can visualise the 'mummy and mini-mes'. Bleeugh.

Ktown · 12/07/2017 19:56

She missed the mark there both design wise and the photography.

silkpyjamasallday · 12/07/2017 20:12

The photos are pretty grim. It's very Terry Richardson in the way it is shot and posed, and I wouldn't want dd dressed in a silky bunny outfit. The sequin capes would be nice for dressing up, however the price as well as the fact (and mainly because) it is marketed using the sexualisation of young girls mean I would ever considering supporting the brand. Lolita as a fashion concept is questionable on adults, and on children it is just plain wrong considering that Humbert Humbert was a peadophile no question.

Mustardnowletsnotbesilly · 12/07/2017 20:14

Its not the clothes that are wrong is the weird poses.

picklemepopcorn · 13/07/2017 06:56

Child photographed on a bed? Wrong...
