Went to a dressy day event last week with a load of girlfriends and a friend of mine wanted to borrow one of my fav mac lipsticks to wear. Yes ok no worries. She put it in her bag for a topup throughout the day. At the end of the day after a few drinks etc she went home and I forgot to get it back. Messaged her to make sure she still had it etc. I have now just seen pics of her at a festival wearing said lipstick. I'm a bit pissed off tbh as those lipsticks aren't cheap and what if she looses it/breaks it etc. I just messaged her to say hope u having s good day etc etc btw would u be able to drop my lippie round over the next few days as I'm out his week and would like it back.
AIBU to be annoyed at this?

Yeah I'd let her keep it too.

I can't really see how anyone can get worked up about this kind of stuff. Even if she's used it for days she hasn't used more than about 80p worth.

Get it back when you can, if she has broken it or used it all then ask her to replace it

(But keep the empty tube, when you have 7 you can swap them back for a new one)

I think either let it go and let her keep it or demand it back NOW (helpful)

Once on a work night out I was wearing a fashionable hat. A workmate wanted to wear my hat - all fine, here ya go, I'll get it back some time, no big deal. Next Monday at work 'oh, I'm sorry, I forgot your hat' Okay, it's fine, it's just a hat, I'm not in a hurry for it. Two or three Mondays later later it was more 'oh woopsie, forgot ur hat whatevas :-p ' and that's when I let my hat go and realised I'd never see it again. And I never have :-( oh well.

*I think you are confused. Many companies use products that were once tested on animals, a very long time ago and not by them.

If you're trying to say never buy a product that contains something that was ever tested on animals, then there would be very little to buy. If you're saying they use new ingredients they test on animals, then you're wrong

The discrepancy, and your confusion, is who tested the ingredients they use and when. If they didn't do it, but it was once done a number of years ago by another company, possibly even for medical reasons, then they can sell in both continents.*

Have a read of this.
