Was going out for lunch with my OH and saw my landlord who said hey what's up Fatty? Errgg why would you think that's a okay funny thing to say??? Yesterday a guy said it looked like I was having triplets 😁 I'm measuring at the right weeks and everything...anyone else sick of this bull? still fuming about the fatty thing...my OH said he's just joking and he is 70...still don't care it's just plain rude.

Are you quite athletic or got good tummy muscles?

Absolutely! I mean I hide it under 2 stone of extra weight but I'm really Kate Moss under all that Grin. Truthfully, my stomach muscles split quite badly during my last pregnancy, and a separate injury meant I put on weight, so some days I look a few months gone anyway. I'm only 12 weeks currently, so who knows how it will go?

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered, there really is limitless ways to be rude to a pregnant person, isn't there!

40+ weeks here. Most people are polite/normal but I may well snap at someone MIL . The size comments and requests for when would suit other people for me to have the DC are the most ConfusedHmm

I've gained just over a stone thighs and belly mostly, I said to my friend I don't mind it makes my legs and arms look thinner lol

Ha I had that Rugger, MIL said she wished the baby was due in June or sept as she has a lot of family birthdays in Aug July....

Ha firsttime I'm literally getting a breakdown of what her schedule is for each day and her plans for her friend (who I have never met) to come over each day with her to visit/help. The friend is because MIL 'doesn't do babies or children'. What the point of this is I don't know but I'm getting told how huge I am each time I'm seen now.
And breathe....

That's so odd rugger...I would not be able to stand it. Outsourcing being a gran lol

YANBU at all!! I HATED the comments when I was pregnant and the weird stomach grabbing from a few colleagues. I had one person say to me every time I saw them that they were "seriously concerned that I was having twins that hadn't been detected" and that I "should go private for a second opinion" Confused I had to refrain from telling them to fuck right off! At the time I had seriously high amniotic fluid levels, this just made the stress worse. I've found that anything pregnancy/post pregnancy related people feel they can comment on your physical appearance freely! Just wait until they say things about your baby. My MIL asks me constantly when my sons birthmark will go away... like it's something hideous. I love his little birthmark!! It never ends I'm afraid!! Good luck with your little one!

Forgot to add, my friend hated bump touching and one day she was very overheated, tired and hungry and had enough in her local supermarket when a strange lady came up to her and touched her bump, so she juggled her stomach and said "it's very invasive isn't it" then stormed off!!! lol

Firstimefreaked · 02/07/2017 22:19

Haha yeah I might try touching back lol I love my birth mark X they are cute, I'm also covered in freckles too X Boo your MIL ask her when your judgement will go away! Ffs at 33 weeks if I was having twins or triplets! high chance that I would have had to have had a ceaserean by now or maybe givin birth already.
