Breast feeding mum, online troll and the newspaper

Now do not get me wrong and I know it has been done to death, a breast feeder gets a troll, instead of just blocking the troll, she runs to the newspaper, I just do not get why??? surely this does more damage to breast feeding mothers? and why is she in one picture sticking her finger up?

Good lord if we ran to the newpaper everytime we had a troll on here the newspapers would be out of business!

A young mum has hit back at a troll who abused her online for posting pictures of herself breastfeeding her daughter.

Aimee Wood, 20, who regularly posts photos of herself feeding seven-month-old Nova on her Facebook and Instagram pages, was told by a stranger to put her ‘f t* away’.

Aimee, who is trying to help ‘normalise’ breastfeeding with her photos, is planning become a peer supporter, training other mums how to feed their children.

Her photos have not gone down well with some people on social media.

Aimee didn’t hold back in her response to one Facebook user, who sent her a private message suggesting she put her ‘f t* away’.

She replied with a photo of herself making a hand gesture while feeding Nova.

Yada yada

Why should she call out trolls in public/'real life'?

Because what might start as "harmless" online abuse can spiral out of control if it isn't dealt with.

Did you see what happened at vidcon? Real-life verbal abuse & threats and physical intimidation.

We (as a society) need to stop dismissing online trolling. Including the stuff that goes on here.

I'd have loved to have some photos of my mum feeding me. How is that ever a bad thing to have for the child, unless you think it's shameful?!

Breastfeeding is great of course, but posting pics of yourself doing it on facebook and instagram and twitter etc etc, is very narcissistic and attention seeking and makes me cringe tbh. And wtf did she have to go to the PRESS for?

Pathetic. Hmm

I mean, posting pics breastfeeding your baby occasionally is no biggie, (one every 2 months or so,) but when you post them constantly, it's like whyyyy??? Confused

And as I said, going to the press....... really? Hmm

I honestly don't get why anyone is arsed. Since when was there an etiquette to what you can post online pictures of people pissed as a skunk or making out etc. am I bothered no I move along. Just because you wouldn't do it doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't.
