Re cosmetic surgery, I think it's a good thing. If I could afford it I'd have a few procedures. I'd love to look as good as Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey.

Seriously OP, you sound over-invested in superfluous "beauty", which you must surely know comes from within if genuine, and from surgery or photoshop if not.

If you could afford surgery, you'd be better to give it to a deserving charity, feel good within yourself for doing it, and the inner glow that gives you will be a lot more natural and beautiful than the work of a surgeon's knife.

I find much more beauty in the little old lady neighbour, seeing her happily potter around in her front garden, the smiley teenager with Down's syndrome who works at the local library and in the make-up-less woman who walks her children to school past my house each morning, chattering about their school day ahead.
