Aibu to ask that any of you who have received treatment , help, support etc from GOSH, send a quick tweet, email or even a little letter to show your gratitude for all that they do for the children and young people in the world.
They are being demonised by the C Army , who are getting themselves into an absolute frenzy over something which is just between the parents and the medical staff , and the idea to do a protest outside the hospital is quite frankly disgusting.
There have been many comments on the pages saying that people are going to stop donating immediately and boycott GOSH for the foreseeable future , this is terrible news for the service they provide as cuts and funding mean that they will be even more stretched than usual. So please, if you have a spare moment in your day, just send a quick message over to say thank you or a special memory of the hospital , just
So they know they are not alone.

Great thread and as a parent of a child who receives regular treatment from GOSH, I have written ABD tweeted today.

The mass hysteria is so irritating and completely ridiculous , people saying that they look
At their own child and see Charlie in him , come on...

He's not the first child to get ill, nor the last, and the same goes for court cases of this kind. As soon as something new happens that's what they'll have their teeth into. Westminster was a distant memory once Manchester happened , then Grenfell stopped the talk about Manchester .. when will it end

It breaks my heart that GOSH is getting this kind of treatment, for something they do every month probably.

My child didn't get treated in GOSH, but they were so close to having to be flown there.

My youngest was awaiting a heart transplant, only two hospitals do them and GOSH is one of them. My daughter got a bed in the freeman (we were waiting on whichever hospital got a bed first) but if she didn't it would have been GOSH to save her life.

The parents of charlie (although as well meaning as possible) have made this all about them and their feelings, and have ignored and lied about what the doctors have said. It's sad that a hospital, doing something I'm sure they don't want to but see no other choice, are being demonised by selfish parents who (and I hate to say it) seem fake hungry although not as much as their army it's heartbreaking Sad

I have this evening signed up for monthly donations. It is disgraceful how the hospital are being treated. Some utter morons replying to every statement they put out there calling them murderers and kidnappers. There are some truly sick and stupid people out there.
