AIBU?
Repetitive question annoying me - AIBU?
user1498744838 · 29/06/2017 15:28
This is petty but its really winding me up.
I have a friend (same age, 26 yr old females) where every time we arrange a meet up, she will ask me 3-10 times beforehand (at weekly intervals) when the date is planned for. I tell her, then she asks me again. I've asked why she doesn't have a diary and she says she sometimes uses it but not all the time.
Anyone got any good ideas of what to say to her to make her sort it? No point buying her one as I know she has one and she has an iPhone. Finding it tiring. Should I just get over it?

Id be tempted to say, "look we arranged this, if you cant be bothered just say so."
Or " if its not important enough for you to remeber lets just cancel"

These repetitive questions via text seems to be becoming a thing.
I can only think it means the questioner gets replies and therefore, by seeing their phone light up, is made to feel more popular.
It is my only explanation for"still on for the morning?", "same place as usual?", "if I'm there first, shall I get you a cappuccino?" etc.etc.
