They are lovely, but probably a bit more dressy than I would wear to a christening. I think I wore a cotton wrap dress to my dc's. To others, off the top of my head I've worn a Tommy Hilfiger skater dress, a cotton day dress from topshop and a jersey sort of loose fitting pencil dress. Nothing very dressy or wedding guesty. But then, if it's very high church or something or maybe you just move in fancier circles than I do Grin.

And yes, that woman in the middle pic definitely looks as if she has piles. What a weird photo to use on the website!
