I have had a really rough pregnancy this time around. I've had awful sickness and nausea, I'm tired, I'm trying to look after a toddler at the same time, and I can't even have a glass of wine to take the edge off. I'm exhausted. Now finally 37 weeks.

But for me, this all pales into insignificance in comparison to restless fucking leg syndrome 😡😡 Every time I try to lie down and relax I just can't get comfortable. It's driving me up the wall and really getting me down actually.

Apart from the obvious, what did you find to be the hardest parts of pregnancy?

Insomnia
Restless legs
Super smell
Constipation
Emotional mess
Losing mobility later on

The constant all day all night never ending nausea that continued until 25 weeks.

At 28 weeks I got sciatica and hemmorhoids the latter would bleed randomly where ever. I was mortified if I ever managed to make it out of the house.

I nearly forgot the chronic asthma that kicked in at 14 weeks, but as I wasn't 17 weeks the consultant wouldn't see me and my gp wouldn't give me anything stronger.

Fun times.

I had a little kit: suppositories, moist toilet tissue, ointment, big cotton pads, witch hazel.

All in a makeup bag that I had on me at all times.

Currently 5 weeks with DC2 and the piles have already started again. I'm on 2 fybogel a day. Sad

Sore hips in bed. From about 16 weeks on, all three times. Ouch. Made sleeping more than 20 mins at a time without having to painfully hoik myself into a different position impossible. Nothing helped, pillows in all positions, new memory foam mattress....nothing.

I had daily vomiting in first trimester which sucked but I could handle it. The worst was onset of PGP a couple of weeks ago that leaves me unable to walk after driving/being a passenger/sitting for too long. I never knew it could be so debilitating and I feel like a pathetic miserable mess but it's hands down the worst thing I've ever experienced. I'm 26 and I can't even walk to the toilet without screaming/yelping trying to get out of bed unaided. Ah well first physio appt tomorrow so fingers crossed 😞🤞

20 weeks in with my first so can't really talk from too much experience but so far for me it's the lack of energy! I used to be full of it... would pretty much run everywhere and always be up and about. Now, a flight of stairs fills me with dread!

Unstable lie at 38 weeks- every time she flips over my back and stomach muscles contract and it looks like I'm in labour. Im not. Desperately wanted to avoid a c-section this time round and now it can't come quickly enough!

I think the constant lack of energy is worst for me. Not being able to do anything near like what I would normally. Also sickness, piles, heartburn and hip pain aren't nice either.
