To not want to buy this makeup

I'm not really into makeup, I don't suit it. I wear foundation to just even out my skin and mascara to brighten my eyes and concealer for blemishes. That's it.

So because I only use three products I like them to be nice, high end products, yves saint laurent and Chanel.

One of my friends sent me a message a while back saying she knew I loved makeup and I was Hmm as I don't. But I thought she might have confused me with someone else (she's a college friend and i was friends with a girl at college who did look like me, a bit.)

Anyway it was Christmas time and I thought maybe I should try her eyeshadow for parties or anything. But I didn't really like it and it was really expensive.

But she keeps messaging me and I've said it wasn't for me and I only use certain brands. So a typical conversation she will ask me if I want to re order the eyeshadow. I say thanks for thinking of me but I'm good. She says why, it looked great on me, I have beautiful dark eyes and should rock them. I say oh honestly, I don't wear eyeshadow just foundation and mascara. Then she tries to flog them to me.

It's embarrassing keeping saying no.

And she puts photos up and tags me Blush

Obviously I made a big mistake in ordering from her but how can I now stop?

If you're not going to delete her just stop replying and untag yourself in all the photos.

I have a Younique friend, and like you I wear very little make up. I bought foundation and mascara from her, it was a fortune and crap BUT when she asked how I found it and I said, not great, she left me alone. We are still friends. I did have another friend who sold Aloe Vera and she was a nightmare, had to avoid her for years! So this is down to your friend, she has chosen to be pushy so don't feel bad being pushy back with a firm NO.

I am trying to find the thread referenced in classics.... any hints on what the title was?

If you say it doesn't suit your skin, she'll probably offer you more products to 'help' you with the scales, itch or whatever.

I've been searching for it too - must have been in chat as I can't find it either...

I haven't seen a younique rep that's any good at applying make-up and just that puts me off
