I may be overthinking this (feel free to tell me if you think so!), but I would really appreciate your advice please :)
I currently work as a part-time tutor on a freelance basis. Many of my contracts are long-term, with students wanting to continue until at least summer next year (particularly if they have important exams next year). Therefore, I would of course be letting them down if I stop tutoring them at short notice.
Ideally, however, I would like to be employed in a full-time job. I'm currently completing an application form for a job, and candidates are asked if they will continue in any other form of employment if they are chosen for the job.
I want to answer this truthfully, which would be to say that yes, I will continue in my current employment (I'll briefly explain on the form that the role is part-time and freelance). However, I'm wondering if this answer would count against me? In the sense that the company will read my answer and perhaps think that I wouldn't be able to give my full time and attention to this job if I'm still planning to continue with ongoing freelance work.
AIBU to ask you what I should write on the application form to answer this question please?
