One has just opened in town and it just doesn't give the same satisfaction as skimming through the catalogue or website .....

I mean - so many of their items you "just have to have" because they're nicely photographed and come with a little legend and quotes that Mrs B of Norton - Cum - Chewing or wherever just can't live without it .... but in reality it's a gubbings on a shelf in the shop !

Lakeland ooooh .... my mother used to buy from them in the 1960s when they were Lakeland Plastics - and I got hooked when I married in the early 90s and sent for my first catalogue - got lots of kitchen stuff, and the great thing is, if you don't like it or find you don't actually need it, they will take it back, no questions asked. They give the BEST customer service ever, and they finally opened a shop nearish me at Brent X in north London. I still get the catalogues though - it's household porn to me - and it's useful to have the shop nearby so I can go look at the stuff and decide if I REALLY need it. My partner is an unusual man - he actually visits Lakeland Cardiff when he goes to visit his Mam, just to buy something for me or to pay my respects ! My ex-hb couldn't bear them - so maybe that's why I love my partner so much! I love a man in touch with his tupperware side!

In fact all of you are wrong as if you want the best shop you have to go to the proper one actually in the Lakes, WIndermere.
BUt to answer the OP I never buy anything there except for the sale rack much more likely to buy from a catalogue.
