From the cats' water fountain?

I won't. But it does look sort of tempting.

They do have several water bowls too that they ignore in favour of puddles of putrid water in the garden

What is this passion for filthy water (preferably full of decaying snails and dog pee)?

Though to be fair, I haven't actually tried the putrid stuff myself - fussy cowbag that I am, I can't bring myself to swig back anything with slugs, earwigs, petrol or piss in it. Call me picky if you like . . .

We've got one of these and our little precious poppets use it a lot more than a normal bowl.
Also 3litres is great if we go away for a night or two.
Ours was Catit from Ebay. Well worth it.

Mewler likes to have the kitchen tap run for her, usually when I'm just about to go out so I have to wait! I wonder if she'd like a fountain?

We had a similar fountain for our "D"cat. She couldn't be dealing with it. She has her own heated cushion on her own chair. She may possibly be a bit of a princess. I suspect she uses taps when we are not looking - we only see her drinking from her water bowl (an actual casserole dish - anything smaller she won't entertain) when it's super-warm. The rest of the time, she guzzles the jelly from her wet food then eats her dry food. Seriously. We are suckers for her and her princessy ways.
