My cat caught this bird. I think it's uninjured but looks very young. I have it in a tub on a warm hot water bottle. What the hell should I do??

Dont kill it!!!!a wildlife hospital will come and pick it up and rehabilitate it. I recently handed two chicks in which had fallen out of the nest and the wildlife hospital fed them until they were old enough to release. Call tiggywinkles in Aylesbury on 01844 292292.they will collect it and obvs no charge to you. They have full time baby bird feeding staff and a baby bird nursery :-)

Tiny roast dinner?

BigDamnHero · 20/06/2017 12:11

Right, off phone to RSPCA. They were lovely and will send someone to collect it but that could take a while since they're obviously overstretched.

I guess I should probably get dressed (am in swimming costume from playing in big paddling pool thing with DS2)!

Just in case anyone comes on the thread looking for an update: a lovely woman from the RSPCA just came round and collected it. She seemed pretty optimistic it will survive as she couldn't see any injuries and it's still going strong. Smile
