To be hiding the alcohol?

Ok, so DH and I aren't big drinkers but quite enjoy a shandy or glass of vino occasionally, especially on these lovely warm evenings once we've got the kids into bed.
DH Sister & brother in law are heading round later and they will happily drink from breakfast onwards but will never bring anything with them. They see alcohol as a challenge- I've known him to drink most of a litre of vodka on an evening and return the next day to finish off! SIL collected the kids from school for me the other week when I got held up at work, she finished the half bottle of wine off but didn't bother feeding the kids (7&9).
I bought a few beers the other day and a bottle of pimms. I've just buried them deep in the cupboard in the hope they don't find them!! I've left a couple of beers in the fridge as DH will know that they're there... I'm hopeful some will remain for later in the week when I'm meeting my friends. Please tell me that I ANBU

It sounds as though their drinking problem is more serious than being able to leave alcohol that they've been asked to leave.

I'd certainly avoid letting them look after my children in future.

Probably worth physically locking away (in your bedroom) any alcohol that you want to keep for your friends' visit.

Why would you ask someone to pick your kids up from school knowing that they may well drink from dawn to dusk?

I hope SiL isn't driving after half a bottle of wine!
