I'm knackered! Long week school reports to finish and eyfs data to submit along with getting dd to and from show rehearsals. Spent today washing cleaning and gardening and just got into bed for an early night and the music starts!! A neighbour in one of houses that garden backs onto mine so house must be 100ft away - they decided to have a fucking party!!! If it had been a BBQ that had been continuing wouldn't be such a problem but the music started at 10pm!!!! I just want sleep

Oh total wimp though and wanted to shout, no, just ended up on the sofa instead

I just do not understand how owners of yappy barking dogs do not hear them aswell.

You just get used to it, my parents had a few barky dogs when I was a kid (not all small though, they ran a small kennels) and I just stopped noticing the noise, like how people who live near railways and stuff get used to the noise.

Dogs shouldn't be barking a lot. It's a sign they have been left too long, not walked/given enough attention.

Just offering sympathy. But for a one off I'm not sure there's much you can do unless it goes on much later.

I think your lawn will need mowing in the morning.

YANBU. Not in the slightest.

I'm living this kind of hell right now. The people across the road have been hanging outside their house talking/laughing/swearing at the top of their voices for the past hour Angry

tireddotcom72 · 18/06/2017 08:21

It finally went quiet at 430! Every now and again they turned it down for about a minute then back up to full volume.

Clearly fed up neighbours surrounding them - kids playing out loudly already! Lawnmower can be heard and I've got a pool filling. boyfriend and his kids are coming over and BBQ planned for lunch - can't be antisocial though as school in morning but we will be noisy from 12-7 and hope they are really hungover.

It's 3 young blokes living there apparently and they moved in a couple of weeks ago.

Can't you ring your council's antisocial/noise number next time? After 23:00 it is illegal. Even our rubbish council takes it seriously. I hope they do something!

Why are people to make noise any time anyway? Also, what about people who work night shifts, or who study, are unwell and need to sleep during the day?? Why can't they rent a hall for their party??
