Wanky neighbour and pissing dog issue WITH DIAGRAM!!

We live in a new build on an estate, we rent. I have a front lawn which comes down the side of the house adjacent to the road and runs alongside the back garden. The back garden is fenced in. A random woman keeps walking down from some flats up the road and letting her dog poo and wee on my side bit. When we mow the lawn the amount of shit that flies about is grim. She stands there with a bag pretending she's going to pick it up then doesn't. I can't go out to her as I have 3 under 3 in the house and I'm alone as husband works nights.
Our lawn is also getting all yellowy from her dogs constant piss!! I can't figure out what flat she is coming from.. can i put up a sign?? Cctv? Its driving me mad. Mainly on principle.

What is it with wankerdogowners?

It could be worse OP, my ground floor flat has dog on a lead only rule communal gardens and every fucking night and day my arsehole neighbour lets her yappy dog wander loose under my flat windows barking it's yappy face off (eg 130am!) and shitting and pissing, she actually seems to wonder why I blank her in the street now.

LexieLulu · 17/06/2017 23:02

I'd take a photo of her from your window and leave a passive aggressive sign on the fence with picture saying "pick up your dog crap or I'll post it to you"

I imagine she wouldn't come back

Trollspoopglitter · 17/06/2017 23:03

Call landlord, tell him neighbours are having their dogs shit on his grass and he need to fence the property you are paying rent to use and put up signs because you're sick of clearing dog poo due to everyone mistaking it for common land and unable to use your front and side garden.

SylviaPoe · 17/06/2017 23:30

Go for bushes.

My parents had this issue and put a fence. Dog poo neighbour complained to council. Parents were told they had to put in planning permission for the face (which was only three feet high) because they were 'increasing their frontage.'

Tapandgo · 17/06/2017 23:32

Geez - even on common land surely dog owners are obliged to pick up after their mutts? I mean seriously - a growing pile of shit that close to someone's house.

SistersOfPercy · 17/06/2017 23:38

Home made sign while the weather is warm

"warning. Grass frequently treated with weedkiller which is poisonous. Keep dogs off"

Grin
SylviaPoe · 17/06/2017 23:38

It wasn't common land in my parents' case Tap. They did own the land. There is just some rule in the planning of some new estates that some areas of frontage must be unfenced, even when you own them. I suppose to make the estates seem less boxed in?

Neuroticwoman · 17/06/2017 23:42

I agree with those who point out that regardless of whether she is aware it's private property or not it's absolutely unacceptable not to clean up after your dog.
We live close to a council permit pitch and local rugby club, and frequently have to clean up poo before training. The rugby club's main pitch is now fenced off and gated due to this very issue.
What makes people think they have the right to allow their dog to defaecate and not clean it up? I would even go so far as to say dogs should not be allowed on areas where children (or adults for that matter) play sports.
OP in your position I would be taking issue with this lady!

LexieLulu · 17/06/2017 23:46

Neurotic, I play rugby, tomorrow I will be training and I can guarantee I will end up stepping or sliding in shit.

Our training is the same time as two children's groups training.

I find some dog owners disgusting. I'd never dream of leaving my pups poop!

candypanda283 · 18/06/2017 21:24

I went out today and she said "he's only having a wee you can't stop him weeing" and I said he shouldn't be on my property and is ruining my lawn and she said "well its not illegal for him to have a wee so its tough" grrrr!!!!

Next time be ready with a hose to rinse the grass. If she gets soaked than that would be a real shame op. .

OkapiCarrot · 18/06/2017 22:28

Tough one :( We have a similar situation with some relatives. Don't own the grass but it backs onto their own garden and shit neighbours always let their dog piss and poop there.

I'd be tempted to tell her you're going to put down rat poison/weedkiller/etc soon, if she wouldn't mind not letting her dog do it's business there. Scare her?

YellowLawn · 18/06/2017 22:33

sprinkle liberal amounts of garlic powder and chilli powder. (cheap from an asian supermarket or workd food isle)
good luck!

Filler44 · 18/06/2017 22:50

There"s only one way to deal with this kind of behaviour, taser the bitch ! That's the owner, not the dog.

ImNotChangingMyUsernameAgain · 18/06/2017 22:56

It's trespass on your land. He shouldn't be on your grass to wee on it in the first place.

WeirdnessOfDoom · 18/06/2017 22:58

Get your dog orf my land you cheeky bint! Garden hose to rinse the dog pee. You missed the lawn and water jetted the dog? Ooops, will try to aim better next time!
