Aibu to be pissed off over these cars parked outside my window one car is parked in my space and has been for the last 2 days and they live in the main building there is plenty of room at the front of the building for them to park and the other car belongs to someone who doesn't even live here anymore and they have been here since Monday. Would IBU to let the air out of their tires just to get my point across.

Your parking space as in "a space you own/that has been specifically allocated to your property" or your parking space as in "the place I like to park my car"?

SheSaidHeSaid · 15/06/2017 20:37

What is a main building?

What do you mean by 'your space?

Are you in a private road or car park?

BandeauSally · 15/06/2017 20:37

Block them in. See what happens. They may get the hint and park elsewhere next time. Or they'll start a parking war. This provides entertainment for MNers. So either way is win:win Grin

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 15/06/2017 20:42

It was specifically allocated to my flat. Apologies it's a house that has been turned in to flats so everyone in the main building have all the parking at the front and I'm in a masionet at the back so I have my own parking space at the back of the building.
Haha seriously thinking about blocking them in my plan B is a note stuck to their cars telling them to move or I will have their cars towed.

Is it a HA building or is it owned by a landlord?

SheSaidHeSaid · 15/06/2017 20:46

Speak to your managing agent about it if they're parking where they shouldn't.

Tapandgo · 15/06/2017 20:48

Note on windshield as you suggested and posted through their door - polite but firm. They might not know it's your allocated space.

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 15/06/2017 20:57

It's owned by a landlord but everything is done through an estate agent might have to speak to them and I will try a note on the window just asking them not to park here anymore. The person who lives in the main building has lived here long than me so they should know that their parking is at the front as for the person who doesn't live here they shouldn't be parking here at all and they have been told to get their car moved.

Yep do the notes. If they do it again contact the agent.

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 15/06/2017 21:10

Thanks I will go with the notes and if it happens again. I will be getting the estate agents to speak to them.

Do you know which flat? I'd stick a not through the door too.

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 15/06/2017 21:37

I don't know which flat they live in I just know that they are in the main building.

Might be worth getting one of those poles you can lock upright to stop people parking there

refusetobeasheep · 15/06/2017 21:42

I'm so hoping they were told by your neighbour that they could use your space

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 17/06/2017 18:32

Think I will get one of those poles or someone with a car to block them in.
