Hi,

I'm in a disagreement with my DP. Which is right!?

One of us thinks that when you are finished with the bath, you should rinse away obvious left over hairs, etc. the other thinks it's the job of the person who is about to get in the bath! Who is right!?

You clean your own muck off, ready for the next person.

Intransige · 12/06/2017 22:36

Ew no, knowingly leaving hairs etc in the bath is grim. Obviously it needs to be done by the person who the detritus belongs to.

iamreginaphalange · 12/06/2017 22:37

Whoever is just finishing using the bath.... common decency ..

Xmasfairy86 · 12/06/2017 22:37

The first person is right. You clear your own filth away 😂😂

AdoraBell · 12/06/2017 22:38

The person who uses it cleans it.

Chocolatie · 12/06/2017 22:39

Thank you!!

The person who has just had the bath should leave it in a decent state for the next person. The odd stray hair etc is forgivable as it's easy to miss something in a rinse round but to leave a bath with hairs all around it is not acceptable.

HerBluebiro · 12/06/2017 22:47

You clean up after you. If for no reason other than the hairs swill away easily straight after a bath. Leave them an hours or two and they stick on in the grime and are harder to remove.

But I wear glasses and have been guilty of leaving the bathroom to get my glasses so i can see what I am doing. Getting distracted on the way and forgetting. (Hence how I know it is a bugger to clean up when dry)

Easier to clean when it is fresh and wet than scrub when it is dried on...

Looneytune253 · 12/06/2017 22:49

Ew so he actually thinks you leave the pubes in the bath for however many hours till the next person gets in the bath. Ew.

paxillin · 12/06/2017 22:55

Does that mean s/he also believes the person who wants to use the loo has to flush and clean it before or is s/he happy to do that after using it?

SleightOfHand · 12/06/2017 23:42

I bet he's saying to do it that way so that he'll never have to clean it. He'll not be bothered by what you leave in the bath, he'll just turn the taps on and fill the bath.

You rinse your crap and pubes out of the bath so it doesn't dry onto the bottom. Courtesy aside, who the hell wants to look at dried on pubes in the period between one person finishing in the bath and the next person using it?

TellMeItsNotTrue · 13/06/2017 00:06

What if there is a few days between person a getting a bath and person b getting a bath, does the bath stay dirty??

Definitely the person who had the bath should clean it
