AIBU?
To feel odd about having bigger boobs than I used to?
GrandDesespoir · 12/06/2017 20:55
I'm feeling a bit weirded out by changes in my body shape (as a result of medication), specifically cup size, and wondered whether people would mind answering a few questions. (Not sure whether simply stating this holds any weight, but I'm not a journalist.)
What would you consider to be a large breast size?
How would you feel if you experienced a significant increase in cup size?
What would be your reaction, if any, if you noticed a significant increase in another woman's breast size?
Thank you.

- which way are you measuring bra sizes?
- any (sudden) body changes would probably lead me to take medical advice. Possibly after POAS if it's boob increase
- I doubt I'd notice change in boob size. I don't really stare at other women's tits. Unless accompanied by overall weight gain/loss, if a change were dramatic enough for me to notice, I'd probably assume surgery (augmentation or reduction)

No, haven't put on weight all over. The medication is oestrogen, for osteoporosis.
What's POAS? The changes have been over a few years. I thought they'd stopped, but I've recently gone up two more cup sizes.
I'm "measuring" simply by noticing my bras don't fit any more and trying the next size up. Keeping the back size the same.

There is an excellent bra calculator which I used from a recommendation on here. I cannot find it. You give four measurements and one is wen your bending over to see how full the cup is. If your back has been the same I'd be surprised if your cup is right - not sure why

That's quite a size difference you've gone through! Yes I think that would be noticed.
Unless you wore very padded bras before or you wear very baggy clothes.
I went from a 32c to a 34E during pregnancy, and now I'm breastfeeding my 2 month old DC and am a 32FF. I find it pretty odd having much bigger boobs, mind you my whole body has changed a lot since before having my baby. It is very noticeable though - my DH comments on them a lot (favourably) and several friends have made remarks. Others seem to like them more than me! I'm not quite sure how I feel about them, though I'm happy they're feeding my baby of course,

I'm still in denial over my breast size. I used to be a 32 A/AA before I had DD and then they increased in size quite significantly and never went back again (I'm now about a 34 C/D). I miss having tiny, pert breasts. In my head I'm still a size 6 with a tiny chest. The reality is somewhat different now, sadly.

Interesting to know it works both ways. Before dc I had been on the combined pill my entire adult life and the oestrogen made me a b/c cup which I was happy with. Post dc the gp has advised I have to be on a progestogen only pill and since stopping bf I have two deflated balloons. If I'd always been an a cup I think I'd be fine with it but I'm very disappointed that my body has changed and eating/exercise etc won't make a difference. I'm stuck with it unless I get implants (which i don't want) or go back on the combined pill against medical advice. Maybe I'll get used to it over time...

I used to be 32A and following the menopause, I'm now 28F. It was a very gradual change and I didn't even notice it myself - it was a very good friend who suggested I needed a new bra!
I still don't consider my boobs that big but previously they were non existent. It's changed the way I dress and I spend a lot more on underwear than I used to but I quite like my shape now.
