There's lots on twitter about how there's a very strong correlation between domestic violence and lone wolf attacks. There have been very few perpetrators of these sorts of attacks who haven't had previous for domestic violence.

For those of you in the US or who are able to get US networks, there will be a 2 hr special on Watergate on ABC this Friday at 9pm PDT (check your local listings). I think it will be well worth watching and that there will be many parallels to be drawn. I know we're in a different era as far as ethics and moral standards in politics go and we can't start assuming 'if this happened back then, then it will be happen now', but if we're lucky it might just get some people thinking (and acting!).
