To not want DS to have all 4 jabs at once?

My DS has just turned 1, and so he's due his vaccinations next week. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of asking your local GP surgery to not give all 4 jabs at once - maybe two one week and two a week or two later? I'm just worried that if he has all four he'll be so sore afterwards, and he's a side sleeper (when he does sleep Confused) so he won't be able to roll on either side! I feel like I wouldn't have 4 injections at once as an adult, so I'm not too keen to put my DS through it either. Or AIBU and it's just better to just get it out of the way all in one go?

DS had his last Friday. He did that horrible silent crying and it wasn't nice to watch but was over with very quickly. I put him on the boob straight after the last one and by the time we left the room he was laughing and clapping again. The leg with one jab in has quite a large red patch on it (can't remember which vaccine went in where) but the one with 2 in and his arm are fine. He's a really fidgety sleeper and rolls a lot tending to settle on his side but it's not bothered him at all. Am very glad it's over for a couple of years!

I'm genuinely surprised by all the cries of PFB and just get on with it on this thread - I'm assuming you'd all be happy to have four jabs yourself in one sitting just because it's possible and it saves wasting a second visit?
I wouldn't have four at a time myself and so my kids didn't have four at once either, two one week and two two weeks later. No problem at the surgery - the nurse told me the only reason they do four at once is because otherwise they struggle to get people back for a second visit.

Yes of course I'd have 4 jabs in one go. As I said upthread, DS had 5 and I think he'd forgiven me by the time the second chocolate button entered his mouth.

Neither of mine were sore or had any reaction. Cried for less than a minute, happy before we'd even got out the door. No after effects from any jabs. It's not something I'd ever worry about.

Shylo - have and did...

I mean for those of you saying you had 4+ jabs at once and it was fine... you're adults, I'd expect you to be fine! Bit different for a very young child, surely? And while I appreciate the advice, accusations of being PFB etc are so unhelpful and rude - for a start, I will happily be PFB or anything else you want to call me if it's what I think is best for my child. Also, this is a parenting forum where I posted for advice - I should be able to get genuine advice without the patronising or rude comments.
