Right I'm on episode 6 of the new series ...

Please tell me the ENTIRE series is not about the riot.

I'm bored to tears with it now.

I'm up to episode 7 and it's improved to the point where I want to watch the rest of the season. The first three episodes were hard going but I'm glad I've kept going.

Piper is irritating as ever but she's definitely got a less central role and they could happily get rid of her and not ruin the show. I'm really glad they're still doing the flashback sequences for a different character each episode. Their backstories have been really well written on the whole.

I also watch Wentworth Prison which is also in its 5th season (Aussie pace) and I'm finding that tough going too but that's more because the limits of credibility and realism are being stretched too far.

I agree it's nice that it's not all Piper now, didn't really like her in the last season, although, dd born last year shares the name, thanks to watching this
