Sings the N word on the radio (in Oliver's Army) it's not bleeped out, but when any of the rap/hip hop/ grime artists do, it is?

Whilst we're musing on the lyrics, shouldn't it be "one more widow, one fewer..."? Though it wouldn't scan nearly so well.

There are a few songs which have been censored in the last few years.
Dire Straits- money for nothing. But Green Days - Holiday uses the same word and yet hasn't.
Is Green Day too 'cool' ?

I think it's probably to do with context, given the anti-colonialist, anti-cannon-fodder themes in the song (like a PP said). Apparently, it was also a racist name the English used to describe in Irish in the 19th century.
