Ugh Farrah is horrid.

She's so nasty and when it doesn't go her way, she turns on the waterworks.

The way she speaks to people is utterly disgusting!!

I know IABU to even watch it but I can't be the only one to hate her attitude, can I?

lemon shit was that last week, i didn't realise it had happened. I don't think ripping him away was the right thing for him. It should have happened years ago, but its too late now. How on earth will she co-parent now with Barb when things got so nasty

Teen mom uk is back for another series after the summer I think. Can't wait! Definitely prefer the American ones though

Teddy is that with the same group of girls? They were all quite something! The girl who put a horse in her back garden even though they could barely afford to eat. The one that was obsessed with her boyfriend's ex. The one who kept sleeping with that absolute loser... It was a complete car crash.

I can't make up my mind about Gary. He does seem controlling but Amber has been all over the place so you can't really blame him. His wife does seem nice and calm. Probably the opposite of Amber! In the old days I think he was a nurse but does he even work now?

There rumours that Kailyns miscarriage was actually an abortion because she had cheated on Javi and was unsure about who the father was.
Im not saying its true but theres a lawyer who only releases these stories about the girls if he has sufficient evidence

The thing with Jenelle is I don't actually think it's about her wanting to spend time with Jace its more about the power struggle with her mum. The way she treats Jace is often, for me anyway, too difficult to watch. I also don't think MTV show half of the shit that goes not here because when you look at her relationships and past behaviour the stuff of camera is far worse.

Barb has another daughter who seems to also have some problems (shocker!) but ultimately I think she does have Jace's best interests at heart, whereas I think Jenelle only relates to her children on her own level and in the context of her own life not theirs or their feelings.

I like Maci, Gary, Chelsea and Catelynn as I think they are in the main good mums with good intentions who yes have had lots of support from some but they've also had to really struggle with other issues like Adam, Ryan and their fucked up families.

I'm really not a fan of Kaitlynn for a whole host of reasons.

Deborah for me is a slow moving car crash and I can NEVER look away. I've even got my DH sending me Deborah memes as we both share the fascination.

New girl Briana is the one with the sister who had an abortion and was then struggling with her sister having the baby. She has a daughter called Nova and now she's pregnant again, with another girl. She also seems to have had a really bad boob job.

She talks to Sophia (sorry i was spelling it wrong!) in such a funny way, i remember a really old one where she was a baby and they were living in an apartment and she's propped her up next to her on the sofa and she's talking to her like she's an adult. It was just odd. I was never comfortable doing baby talk, but it was weird they way she was / is with her.
I could see Deborah not letting Farrah have an abortion with the rational that "this is my chance to get it right" but even in the 16 and pregnant and the subsequent series (i caught up with the first series a few weeks ago it was incredible) she's so awful to her mum, the only person i see doing any controlling and manipulating was Farrah of her mum. She was dumping sophia at the first opportunity and chasing boys. But theres also the flip side that she must have learnt that behaviour from somewhere .

Farrah is so rude to Simon (well everyone) and that bloody ring, how he doesnt ram it down her throat.

Did you see the therapist one recently where Farrah said "i let my mum help me" and the therapist pulled her up "your sounding very entitled there" Id imagine thats the last time she saw that therapist

Oh god Simon!!! Run Simon!! When he was trying to show her areas of San Diego and she was being so rude. I would have pulled over and told her to walk!!
I love that the film crew always show you the portaloo outside her house whenever there's an outdoor shot. Because she banned them from using her indoor toilet.

Definitely prefer the American ones but excited for teen mum UK series 2, it was very interesting to watch.

Isn't Gary a property mogul now? I think he owns a lot of houses on the street he lives on and lets them out.

Does everyone think Simon and Farrah are for real? I have never ever seen them kissing or cuddling or any form of affection between them. I was thinking she pays him to pretend they're in a relationship.

Is the UK series going to be about the same girls as series 1, or is it a whole new load of teen mums, does anyone know?

Haha me too. I don't know anyone in real life who watches Teen Mom and I never thought for a minute there would be a whole load of us lurking on AIBU!!

Did anyone notice when Janelle told Jace about her 3rd pregnancy that he sat there looking so glum and said: "oh no, not again ". I really feel for the kid.

It's on MTV. I think it's the most high brow of MTV viewing. With "Just Tattoo of Us" being the absolute scrapings from the bottom of the barrel.

I don't know if I'll watch the UK series, I always found it really depressing. I think with the US I put a lot of the off behaviour or quirks down to being the done thing there whereas here I find it a lot more identifiable and then get annoyed that they're all being so awful.

At least they don't seem to become big stars like the US girls. I wonder how many here will see it as a 'platform' this time round.
