Lucky you pottered to have good insurance and be confident that the people you care about do to and would have that security whenever they might unexpectedly need it.

Put my cross in the box - but definitely not for HIM!

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 20:57

FFS another 'vote Labour if you aren't a heartless cunt' thread

Polling closes at 10.00 so you are a bit late - plus there are another billion of these.

strawberrygate · 08/06/2017 20:58

Sorry, what has a US hospital bill got to do with anything?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 20:58

And btw the shouting caps make you look a bit of a twat

HTH

Sparklingbrook · 08/06/2017 20:58

Roll on 10pm.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 20:59

No because then we go from 'vote Labour now' to 'if Labour lose I will have to sell my children you bastards' Grin

Maxandrubyrubyandmax · 08/06/2017 20:59

What precisely has a maternity bill for a couple in the states have to do with the uk parliamentary elections. If you hang on I'll find the receipt I got for a sun hat in Spain recently (it's about as relevant)

pottered · 08/06/2017 20:59

we aren't going to move from the NHS to a completely private system with no state option for those that can't afford it - I understand you're scared, but this doesn't make sense.

AuntiePushpa · 08/06/2017 21:00

You're right strawberrygate the financial reality of privatised healthcare is totally irrelevant to the issues people are thinking about when deciding who to vote for in this election.

HappyLabrador · 08/06/2017 21:01

Oh no OP!

If only I'd seen your thread before I went out and voted Conservative!

Hmm
Maxandrubyrubyandmax · 08/06/2017 21:02

...and if you can't afford the maternity bill, just a thought don't have a baby if you know that's the kind of fees you will face?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 21:03

Anyone who hasn't voted by now is either on their way or not intended to at all.

But by all means try to sway the result Hmm

AuntiePushpa · 08/06/2017 21:04

Good plan Maxandrubyrubyandmax only the rich should have babies

OP posts:
LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 21:04

Why are you assuming that people aren't making an informed decision OP? How very patronising

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 08/06/2017 21:06

What on Earth has a bill from an American hospital to do with the Election?

No one is getting rid of the NHS, and even if they decide to reform it then the German or French model will be much more likely than the American.

No need for the drama.

Dandandandandandandan · 08/06/2017 21:07

Pushpa - to turn that around, so do you think you should have children knowing that you are dependent on others to subsidise you/them?

artycakemaker · 08/06/2017 21:07

Oh Bugger off.

Quimby · 08/06/2017 21:09

These Tory spy bots are out of control

Oh wait

AuntiePushpa · 08/06/2017 21:09

Yep probably LiviaDrusillaAugusta but no harm done and it isn't like anyone much expects their threads posted on mumsnet to have a major influence on the behaviour of readers either.

Apologies all for letting off a bit of steam after getting frazzled all day canvassing. Going to help my DS with a bit of GCSE revision now and then head to bed so knock yourselves out.

AuntiePushpa I can't tell whether you're a Labour or Tory plant supporter. On the one hand and on the off chance you seem to be wanting to guide people to your own intended voting habit then doing it in such an over patronising way that it puts them off completely agreeing with you or maybe its just that you are that blind and militantly dismissive of anything that doesnt fit into your agenda

Sparklingbrook · 08/06/2017 21:12

A whole day of canvassing? What did that involve?

alphajuliet123 · 08/06/2017 21:13

I wouldn't trust Corbyn run a bath, let alone a country.

MissionItsPossible · 08/06/2017 21:13

Oh oops, didn't see your above message it wasn't posted when I eventually posted mine, didn't know you were canvassing, must have had more stress for you. Flowers

Justanotherlurker · 08/06/2017 21:15

Sorry OP, if only this type of plea was made a couple of days/weeks earlier, you see i only read the canary daily mail so i'm very informed you see, this is now what I want to see tomorrow now just for the lulz, it is partly your fault i want to see this
