TTC 5th baby at 42 Anyone else care to share a similar journey?

Hi all, I currently have 4dc 19, 16, 14 and a 17 month old. My teenagers are all brill. One is at uni so just three kids at home. My dh and I feel our youngest could benefit from a sibling closer to his age. I've just had the Mireya coil remived so fingers and toes crossed. I'd love to hear from anyone in a similar position to maybe share the journey. X

Tweetypie, I can't agree more about teenage boys. My eldest was a typical monosyllabic teenager this time last year who spent most of his time in his bedroom on his computer. But since Dd was born he spends a lot more time with us all because he delights in every new development. It brings a tear to my eye sometimes to see her face light up when he comes in the door. You're right, Owldoll. My teen boys are so typical (sorry to stereotype) but all inhibitions go out the window when it comes to DC4. They play in the bath with him, get covered in his dribble, and are even happy to push the pushchair in public! Whilst pregnant, they couldn't have shown less interest, but the day I brought dc4 home, all my teens faces were an absolute picture of love at first sight, which still remains today. (Despite dc4 regularly turning off the Xbox mid game just for fun, along with the football inside the toilet!!) x

Get cracking OP, I found out late 30s when we started ttc that my fertility levels/ ovarian reserve was the same as a woman of 50. Left things too late because everyone kept telling me I had plenty of time.
