In the context of this thread, it was stupid and inappropriate. Calling your comments "sarcasm" doesn't mean others can't judge them as offensive.

Of course they can be judged as offensive. I could (unfairly) judge your comments as venal and bullying. Doesn't mean they are - it's a judgement, not a fact.

That's why I was saying that my motivation was not wicked, it was humorous, and should thus be treated that way.
