I love my parents to bits well I don't get on with my dad but that's a whole aibu but every morning and day the kitchen tables are not clean. Always water stains from making tea or crumbs every where and I'm the only the one that ever cleans it up. Arrrgh it's driving me crazy amongst other things.

Bit of context op? Have you had to move back in with them or never left home? Do you pay rent? Were they always like this?

SaucyJack · 07/06/2017 17:31

Move out and get a home of your own then.

DoIKnowWhatImDoing · 07/06/2017 17:34

We do pay and if I could afford to move out I would

DD is that you Grin

pinkyredrose · 07/06/2017 17:35

Who's the 'we'? Maybe your parents are enjoying turning the tables after clearing up your mess and wiping your arse for yrs! Wink

Tinseleverywhere · 07/06/2017 17:37

Haha MrsJayy my dd might be posting this in a few years too.

MrsJayy · 07/06/2017 17:40

Look you are all living together if something needs wiped just wipe it what do you want - your parents to do ? You could always say something to them

SaucyJack · 07/06/2017 17:42

"I could afford to move out I would"

Serious question; do you not think you should have thought about finding a place to live before getting married and having 2 children?

If you were 17 and had no choice to live with slobby parents- then I might have a bit of sympathy for you.

You just sound rude and ungrateful to me tho TBH. Sorry.

minionsrule · 07/06/2017 18:12

So you can't afford to move out and your parents are kindly putting you up? Live with it i'mafraid.
Be glad your mum hasn't taken your key off you for coming home late, mine did when i moved back at 26..... i quickly found somewhete else to live Wink

DoIKnowWhatImDoing · 07/06/2017 18:14

I did mean to come out sounding so rude. Of course I'm grateful for everything they have done for me.

waitforitfdear · 07/06/2017 18:14

Blimey ungrateful much op.

msgrinch · 07/06/2017 18:17

How bloody ungrateful

IPutBabyInTheCorner · 07/06/2017 18:31

Maybe they're sick of you being there taking up their space? I wouldn't be impressed if my kids decided to start a family whilst still living in my house.

GhostPower · 07/06/2017 18:33

Saucy jack how do you know op has kids? They didn't mention this?

SavoyCabbage · 07/06/2017 18:39

It's their table though! They can have it knee deep in crumbs if they so choose.

The best thing about moving out of your parents house is doing what you want when you want.

Jayfee · 07/06/2017 18:43

my son and dp coming home soon....will ask them to let me know anything that bothers them..always good to know

SaucyJack · 07/06/2017 18:47

Username search GhostPower.

Always handy when an OP doesn't care to provide any context.

Gazelda · 07/06/2017 19:05

Do you have a plan for getting your own place? Saving like crazy and a timescale. If you've got an 'escape plan' it makes it the niggles a bit more tolerable.
I'm sure they've got a complaint or two about you too. It's part and parcel of sharing accom,

Lookforthelight · 07/06/2017 19:17

And you posted about not using contraception so could easily have a third child living with them. Bloody hell. I'm sure they have a couple of pet hates regarding you too.

Stop being so ungrateful!

RebelRogue · 07/06/2017 19:30

What happens if you don't wipe them off?

Hissy · 07/06/2017 19:35

Yeah.... skip clearing up breakfast... see what happens...

SleightOfHand · 07/06/2017 19:52

Could you make a mini kitchen in your bedroom?

mygorgeousmilo · 07/06/2017 20:00

I'm sure they love having you and your whole family living with them.... don't be so bloody ungrateful

pinkyredrose · 07/06/2017 21:31

Hey don't worry OP, I'm sure the noise, mess and havoc that a 2yr old and a baby create doesn't compare with a few crumbs or watermarks!

Have you looked into whether you could get any assistance to move out? I would've thought you'd at least get housing benefit, tax credit and child support, you may find it possible to move out?
