To want someone to link to any evidence which says the Tories are planning to get rid of the NHS?

As I haven't seen any, and yet if Facebook memes are to be believed they are going to get rid of it as soon as they get back into power? The only costings I can find seem to suggest they are planning to fund it about as much as labour is.

Christinarosseti please educate yourself on the difference between debt and deficit. The deficit has actually fallen by £100 billion in the last 7 years. The deficit was £150 billion in the last year of the last Labour government which meant interest payments of over £40 billion each year. Virtually the defence budget!

Tesco PLC? public limited company? Anyone can download their annual report and accounts online

And that's about it. You will not find anything on how they're run. Their annual report is written by them to their shareholders.

You cannot whistleblow on Tesco, you cannot write to your MP and get an investigation nor are their activities heavily regulated.... they are not publicly accountable.

John Major (a former Conservative PM you may have heard of him) said in an interview that you shouldn't trust the current Conservatives with the NHS.

google 'virgin healthcare' - some parts of the NHS are already privatised and the media likes to ignore this fact.

I caught wind of this via facebook and thought it was a hoax - but no, it's completely true.

Spot in here. I work in mental health and services being sold off to private companies is becoming increasingly common. They are notorious for having high staff turnover because the employee terms and conditions are poor compared to the NHS with very little opportunity for development for qualified staff (you know like greedy nurses who want a fair wage and to increase their skills Hmm).

My service is apparently going to tender and despite the fact that we come in under budget compared to similar services nationwide it is likely a private company will claim they can do it cheaper to win the contract. Incidentally I've seen a bid from a private company before and the main way they claim to be able to do it cheaper is by reducing the number of qualified staff and replacing them with cheaper staff so if you're happy for unqualified (but still valuable) hcas doing the jobs nurses used to do all while being supported by 1 nurse instead of 3 (true story in the dementia unit I used to work for-hell on earth I called it) then support this by all means.

I work regularly with health and social care providers.

Anyone who votes Tory and thinks they're not voting for privatisation of public assets has a very misguided idea of Tory policy.
