To be sick of hearing about how bad the world is 'these days'?

Following another terrorist attack FB is rife with lots of anti Muslim posts (that's another thread) and also lots of 'what's the world coming to these days?'

Is it just me or has terrorism been around for hundreds or thousands of years and been committed by all races/nations etc? Terrorism is not a new thing, is it?

I think it is odd that we hold a concert in honour of victims of terrorism in Manchester (I live in Manchester) but we victim shame refugees from Syria.

IMO when there are attacks against white people there is an outpouring of love (I am white). When there are attacks against brown people there is indifference and isolation.
