It's fascinating that Khan has clearly got under Trump's skin in such a big way. Apart from the obvious racism, I suspect it has to do with the fact that he ruins the All-Muslims-Are-Terrorists agenda.

The term 'chain-gang' makes me shudder. A couple of years ago I was at an awards event. It was attended by a number of mayors and their wives. One was telling me about he hard life they had, going from event to event, eating nice food. Two events that day alone. (It was a special occasion for me). They referred to themselves as the 'chain gang'.

At that point I decided that whatever I did in life, I was not going to let myself become mayor of anything.

Orlantina, I suspect that is something he may be considering. Have to hope he voices that to his advisers before he announces it on twitter.

Oh I thought chain-gang was a self-mocking allusion to the civic chains worn by mayors and lord lieutenants.

But the original meaning obviously adds an uneasy undertone, if it's not crystal clear they're being self-deprecating...

I saw an interview with Khan where he misspoke and said:

"I've got more important things to do than deal with trumps from tweet"

instead of "tweets from Trump"

which made me smile.

Ceto I don't know that - in DTs head - any terrorist agenda is ruined by Khan. Rather I'd say he thinks Khan is an apologist or more oddly, a protectionist of his 'own kind'. A look at Breitbart (not that I'm sanctioning that) will show how the alt-right view Khan. I don't think Trump is much far off.

I have not posted the actual collage that is mentioned here because it is probably better to look at the original but this is interesting in terms of a possible election game-plan and Roger Stone.
