I used orlandoattractions.com for our holiday last September, they were great and cheaper!
Port Orleans French Quarter is my favourite hotel, it's a perfect size and lovely being close to Disney Springs. Plus it has delicious beignets.

Also agree with PP's who've said about the range of food. Especially at EPCOT. Sunshine Seasons and Tangierine Cafe are 2 of my favourite places to eat. Also the hotels have good food, particularly Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge. You'll find plenty of info via the dibb about that though!

The fb group IT'S ORLAND TIME is fab and there is loads of tips on there.

Staying off-site can keep costs down. Also look at flying indirect or lesser nlknown airlines. We flew with United from Glasgow via Newark in March and it saved is £4k. My DSis is going in Sept and is flying with Norwegian from Gatwick to MCO and her flights are £250pp.

If you can, try avoid school holidays. Easter especially as this is probably one of the busiest times of year at the park as it tends to clash with Spring Break. We went for Easter this year and it was crazy busy!

Last 2wks of August tend to be a bit quieter than the rest if the summer and the American children will be back at school.

We stay at the Orange Lake Resort in a two bedroom unit. It's about £350-400 per week and have kitchens and washing machines etc. The facilities are amazing. Can spend a few days on site between park days.
If you can stretch to discovery cove for a day you will not regret it. I think it's my favourite place in the world!
There's loads to do in Florida beside the parks!
