No one seems to be interested in a bunch of teenagers raising money for charity. Bake sales / fundraising at school isn't an option. Has anyone got any fundraising ideas ?

Thanks

We had a god success with a charity car wash at the local fire station. We wash the cars, provide the buckets soap and soongers, have access to their hoses. Sloit the funds we made £1000 for our group

I think people have so many charity demands that something where you get something back is more popular. I'd pay someone to wash my car.

Car wash and bag packing was the best for us. Send a boy to America for bone cancer treatment and subsidised the groups welcome back weekend away.

Along with the sponsored headshave o that ll his mates and coaches had no hair too

They said they'll have ago at a carwash. Holding a fundraiser at school isn't an option for them unfortunately.

At this time of year, there are lots of boot fairs and summer fair type things where you could have a stall to sell stuff to raise money for your charity. Have a collection bucket too maybe for anyone else who would wish to donate. Have flyers to show and explain what it is your fundraising for; this tends to help as people then know what their money is going towards.

How about something like the bob a job that scouts used to do
Offering gardening - car washing - shopping for someone who is housebound for a small fee
Will any local supermarkets let them do a bag pack?

Hold an auction of promises. Get people to offer their services for babysitting, car-washing, dig walking etc. Ask parents to offer to do something too. For example if someone's Dad is a decorator offer to paint one room. Utilise the skills of all family members! Also ask local businesses to donate e.g. A meal for two or whatever. Auction everything off one one night. We did this as teenagers to raise money for charity and made loads. If possible give people a few drinks before getting them to bid 😉

Look to see if there are any outside cinemas near you (film on a farm etc) and discuss having a special event.
