Good. I'm glad she's been sacked. She went way, way too far with that tweet, and I reckon she knew it hence the deletion.

Twitter is a scary place if you go looking at some of the stuff her followers are saying. They're lapping it up and "we're with you, Katie."

I'm all for free speech but she simply shouldn't be allowed to get away with publicising stuff like calling for a final solution- it's hate speech.
What's also scary is the fact that quite a lot of people don't know about how Hitler got into power by ordinary people putting him there, and don't know what the term final solution was.

And yet there are plenty of MNers who act exactly like that if anyone dares to suggest that they are voting anything other then Labour at the GE. Just a few minutes ago I read a particularly nasty and groundless response to a perfectly reasonable comment on those exact lines.

I said nothing to suggest that everyone knows what it means. My problem is the (disingenuous) suggestion that the words 'final' and 'solution' would accidentally be typed or come out of someone's mouth in this context. Or most other contexts. Except maybe some kind of maths-based game show.

She's been all over the American news networks and praised for her views about us giving in to terrorists and being passive etc do guessing she hopes to move there for a plum job.
