Just that really? If I put this in with dark colors, will it run, or should I just wash it alone?

I just looked on Amazon for them as well.

Stella, it's from Macy's in the US and yes it has pockets. I haven't worn it yet, because I didn't know how to wash it.

I gave my 9 year old a white top, with a Batman picture on, with black sleeves at Easter. He's worn it once and it's now at the bottom of his washing basket because I don't dare put it in with the whites in case the black runs on them, but I don't want to put it in with the darks in case they run on it. Gah!!

I forgot who mentioned it, but what happens when you put jeans and red together? I think I have washed them together before. I can't see enough to tell if something has been ruined, so I am careful with washing.

I would wash that with pastels. I do whites, blacks/very darks, pastels and bright colours.

Kids, I don't blame you! I always put things in, and hope they come out the same color. And the same size!

How would you wash these?

If a garment is already multi or dual coloured it is colourfast itself. I'd wash it with lights so that the white bit doesn't get coloured from other potentially non fast dark clothes.

PurpleMadness · 23/05/2017 20:27

Depends what the fabric is and how much other garments you'd wash it with might run. To be on safe side I'd wash it on my 15 mins wash and do it separately. If it's polyester or Nylon is unlikely to run so you could wash with whites. Colour catchers a good idea if you want to wash it with other stuff.

No idea what material it is. It's like a jumper material.

Another vote for colour catchers - I somehow managed to put a tea bag in a bath of baby clothes. Colour catcher was a dingy brown but not a tea stain on any of the little ones clothes.
